My journey in education

I have dedicated 18 years to Aldine ISD as a long-term and teacher of record substitute teacher. My journey has equipped me with patience, creativity, and energetic conflict resolution skills, all honed within the classroom. I am deeply committed to Aldine ISD's vision of providing every student with a dynamic and unparalleled education, ensuring choices and opportunities for their future. Currently, I am advancing my education, pursuing an Associate of Arts in Teaching degree, set to be completed in December 2026. My goal is to become a Certified Early Childhood Development teacher. My specialty lies in Pre-K4, where I focus on creating a nurturing environment that encourages students to safely explore, create, and grow. I strategically design lessons to be fun and engaging, utilizing centers where students learn through play. I am passionate about equipping students with the essential skills they need to succeed in life.

My classroom approach

My teaching approach is centered on flexibility, engagement, and developmentally appropriate learning. I strongly believe in learning through play and exploration, as play-based learning is crucial for strengthening language development, problem-solving abilities, and social-emotional skills. My classroom is a vibrant space where children can discover, question, and grow in an environment that supports their natural curiosity.
